Spiritual health
Spiritual health is about connectedness and meaning. It’s the sense that who you are, how you live, and what you value are aligned. For some people, spirituality includes religion. For others, it shows up through nature, reflection, creativity, or a deep sense of inner truth.
At its core, spiritual health is about being your truest self—not performing, not shrinking, not constantly adapting to survive. It involves a quiet mind, a grounded sense of purpose, and moments of peace that exist even when life feels demanding.
When spiritual health is neglected, stress often feels existential: restlessness, disconnection, numbness, or a sense that something is “off” but hard to name. Reconnecting with values, meaning, and inner alignment can be deeply regulating and stabilizing.
